Freedom of Information Series are devoted to the advancement of access to government information in NSW. In the series we will be reporting on the work of freedom of information advocates as well on our own initiatives and ideas for reform.
FORCIN considers that there is currently no meaningful right to know in NSW. Instead, there is a carefully constructed machinery designed to stop people from accessing government information. This machinery directly enables corruption and misconduct of employees of government.
FORCIN says it’s enough.

Do you have an idea how to improve the access to information? Or perhaps you think that something in the current scheme is not working and should be changed? We would love to hear from you! Please contact FORCIN.
